Holistic hypnotherapy combines hypnosis with energy work, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). Combining these modalities allow me to be as effective as possible at helping clients, and combining these modalities is something that most hypnotherapists do not do.
Being a reiki master and energy worker, I can help you by focusing on your energy, seeing where your energy is stuck—especially in the area you are working on—and utilizing my skills to get that energy moving in a way that serves you.
Using NLP I can help you to reprogram your brain/mind, which can be very helpful in addressing things like behavior change. Finally, using EFT allows me to help with any emotional or physical issues you may have by tapping on meridian points on your body.
If you Google NLP, you will find many definitions. My personal definition is that NLP is a tool to reprogram the brain/mind through the use of language.
EFT was created by actor and producer Gary Craig in the late 1990s. EFT—also known as tapping—is a technique that involves tapping on meridian points to help alleviate emotional and physical issues.
Reiki is a Japanese practice of energy work. Using reiki during a hypnosis session allows me to help clients cleanse and align their energy to the purpose of the session.
Sessions can absolutely be done online, and they do not have to be conducted in person in order to be effective.
Everyone experiences hypnosis a bit differently. What you can expect is a safe and professional environment where you will be comfortable enough to go into a trance state: that state between awake and asleep where you will be relaxed. I will guide you to relax your conscious mind, which will allow me to speak directly to your subconscious mind. In this relaxed state you will be more susceptible to positive suggestions, which will help you achieve your desired results. Once the session is complete, you will emerge from that state feeling empowered, confident, and aligned with yourself.
Generally you only need one session per issue you want to work on. Only on rare occasions will you need any follow-up sessions for an issue that was worked on in a previous session. However, all follow-up sessions are free as long as it is working on the original issue.
Please note that after your session you may notice other behaviors you want to change, which would require additional paid sessions to address. For example, you come in for a weight-loss session and several days later you notice you have a craving for a particular unhealthy food. Addressing the unhealthy food craving would require an additional paid session, and this is why I recommend booking multiple sessions: so that we can work on those “hidden behaviors” that may show up after your first session.
No. Most of the time the issue you want to work on is resolved in one session. However, after the session you may notice other behaviors you want to change. For example, you come in for a weight-loss session and several days later you notice you have a craving for a particular unhealthy food. This is why I recommend booking multiple sessions: so that we can work on those “hidden behaviors” that may show up after your first session.
People who are 100% ready to change. Hypnosis starts with you and your willingness to change. Even if you are 99.9% ready to change, the session will not be as effective. If you are at less than 100% willing to change yet are willing to be, I can work with you to fully get to that 100%.
I am not a medical professional, so I cannot work with anything that is medically diagnosable such as anxiety, phobias, insomnia, etc. What I can help with are things like anxious thoughts, fearful thoughts, bad sleeping behaviors, and—yes—the emotions that come about with a career transition. Anything medically related will require a referral from your physician or therapist.
My first training with hypnosis and NLP was in 2014 with Bennet/Stellar University. Michael Bennet was trained by one of the NLP founders, Richard Bandler. I have since been trained in the Jeffrey Stephens Protocol with Rob DeGroof in 2009. With the passing of Michael Bennet and the dissolving of Bennet/Stellar, I went on to train with Transform Destiny in their hypnotherapy, CORE coaching, and NLP practitioner programs. I continuously train and learn from Transform Destiny as well as several other hypnotists and NLP practitioners.
There is growing research through the American Psychological Association as well as several other organizations showing a scientific basis for hypnotherapy.
The first step actually starts with you filling out the request form for a discovery call. Once we have our discovery call, I will give some instructions on what else you need to do to prepare for the first session.

No. Both of these are common Hollywood myths. While in a hypnotic trance YOU are always in control; I am simply a guide. As for getting stuck, hypnosis is a state between awake and asleep in which you always arise from.
Yes!! As long as you are 100% willing and give consent to the hypnotist, you can be hypnotized! I ask that you do not consume alcohol or take any illicit substances before your sessions as these could interfere with you getting fully into a hypnotic state. If you are on prescribed medications of any type, please take those as prescribed.
At this time I do not work with past life regression. I can refer you to other hypnotists who do work with this.
